Our Tiny Home
Experience a one of a kind stay as you escape the city and getaway to nature in our custom built Shipping Container Home nestled in the middle of a sustainable 10 acre homestead that is home to our Scottish Highland Cows. Just minutes from I5 this property takes living smaller to a whole new level! Enjoy all the amenities while staying in the middle of a working farm. Cozy in for awhile and leave refreshed, or use our home as a central location to the mountains, ocean and gorge.
With a full kitchen, you are ready to nestle in for a long stay and enjoy the peaceful surroundings and all the home and farm has to offer. We, Dave & Jaimie, do all of our own projects and we are constantly working around the property and growing and building new things! Remington & Winchester,, our working LGDs, are part of our family and keeps all our animal friends safe from the wild things. Remi & Ches, along with the Highland coos and our other animals friends are always guest’s favorites memories!
Meander up the fern lined wooded private driveway as you make your way to our home. While it looks like you are driving through a national forest, a 2 wheel drive car will get you here in most weather situations (excluding snow.) Once you have arrived at our custom gate, there is a dedicated guest parking spot close to the home just for you! The home offers keyless entry and flexibility with checkin hours.
The property includes a large seasonal container garden directly across from the Shipping Container home where you are welcome to taste and sample, a greenhouse, berry patch, orchard, and a fire pit (with wood) just to name a few of the many amenities. The Chickens and ducks are always entertaining and are protected by their guardians, Remi & Ches our Great Pyrenees’. Oh, and don’t forget the fluffy Highland coos! They love all the guests, because guests feed them snackies 😉 Their favorites include Purina horse treats, apples, carrots – but really, they aren’t picky! If you are lucky, you will be able to snap the perfect picture of their long tongue wrapping around fingers as they enjoy the treats! We also offer organic farm fresh chicken eggs and organic homegrown jams for purchase if you are interested – just ask for details and availability.
